It wasn't his hair....

Just read the bible. The famous story of Samson and Delilah. Many people say that it was Samson's hair that gave him strength. I say otherwise.
Judges 16: 17
"So he told her everything. 'No razor has ever been used on my head," he said, 'because I have been a Nazirite set apart to God since birth. If my head were shaved, my strength would leave me, and I would become as weak as any other man."
Judges 16:20b
"... He awoke from his sleep and thought, 'I'll go out as before and shake myself free.' But He did not know that the Lord ahd left him."

It was Samson's disobedience to the commandment of God that Nazirites were not to shave their heads or cut their hair. It was disobedience that made him fall. His strength left him because the Lord had left him.

Coz i'm sick, and perhaps i shd stop whinning about it, i shall just break out into poetry following my 2-line inspiration in the shower.

Now to the buffet
With a runny nose,
A bad throat day
I could almost see it.
The tempura tempting me
The chocolate choking,
laughing at me.
No wedges, no fries,
Just soaking in my cries
Staring at people eat
Many delicious treats
And i... Just water at the mouth
Eat what's left.
Boiled food,
Unsatisfying desserts
Topped with foul mood,
A dash of pouts.
Alright,
Maybe not.
Just hoping there wouldn't be
Too much that can't be taken
Of what Sweet Tooth's eyes see.
Then again perhaps,
My shirt will be the only
One unstretched,
No bulging tummy,
Buttons intact
Non-fat!

Lying on my bed... i was just thinking about randon things.
Then i asked myself(again) the qn that many would : why is there suffering in the world? I found myself stunned for a while, only remembering that i once was told that 'who are we to judge what God does?' and something along the lines of 'the world is sinful and thus we suffer'. I believe in these. I do. But as i was just reflecting, suddenly(God prob put the thought in my mind), i realized something... if there was no suffering in the world... then Jesus couldn't have come down to the world to suffer, receive 39 strokes, get spat at, be nailed to the cross and have a crown of thorn put on His head and die for us. If there was no such thing as suffering in the world... And like my pastor once said: "We may not know why God allowed Adam and Eve to sin, but He knew then that He would have to send His son to be cruxified for the sin of Man."
