Hey guys... Wrote this poem at ard 2.15am. Slept then woke up again. Feel kinda lonely these days, i guess. Wadeva...





River


Who will dry my tears
When i cry alone at night?
Who will suppress my fears
When i see darkness instead of light?

Who will fill my empty heart with song?
To lift my spirits above the sky?
Who will tell me where i belong?
To tell me it's ok to cry?

Who will know my heart's every desire?
To give me all one can?
In the cold, who will light me a fire?...
To love me for who i am?

For the tears that i shed
are not tears alone;
they are the life
that has been missing in me.
Joy that never enters my heart
turns to a salty river
so
deep
none can see.

This river it cuts a canyon
STRAIGHT in the middle of my heart-
My emotions the water con.
Cut. Oxbow lake. Hits hard.

And as the lives of others gush
along with the river,
mine,
oxbow lake.
When the gurgling stops at 2 points,
The heart breaks, the mind freeZes.
The oxbow lake dries up. life is no more
