My senior pastor said smthg that really grabbed me at the shoulders and looked me in the face, so to speak. It was something really bold to say, considering pastors don't usually want members to leave the church.
He said, "Are you in this church because you were called or are you just here? Because if you're not called, then you'll run away when problems arise." I think he was referring to problems as a whole and what has been happening... Ally, the girl who can see and converse with Jesus. She's been tested 7.5 hrs straight about the bible happenings by our senior pastor. God brought her to heaven and showed her everything from Genesis to Revelations but without explaining anythign to her. She didn't know who Moses is, but she saw the parting of the red sea and the plagues. She knew the colours of stones next to the throne in Heaven. According to Revelations, they were jasper and carnelian - green and red with white streaks, exactly what she described without knowing what they were.
She knows truth when tested. About the manifested body, about God's presence. She's only been a christian 3-4 months now. This whole thing is controversial and even some in the church don't believe.
Anyway, the point of this entry is to ask ourselves: Have we really asked God about our calling to our respective churches? It's scary... if this church were not my calling, i wouldn't know where i ought to be...
